It is constructed from local stone and sports a traditional Lakeland Slate roof. Originally, it furnished a window in the west wall, but it got broken. The Seating and Sleeping areas are constructed from real wood. As you can see, it is in pristine condition as it has recently been refurbished with a few licks of paint and some varnish. |

| The Coniston Bus Shelter is THE focal point in the Coniston area. It caters for all ages and times of day. The complex is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is a dedicated Sunday Morning Paper reading area. The premises are extremely versatile as they also double as a regulation football goal. No need to use jumpers for goalposts in our Village! | |
